How to Love Your Body More

Many people suffer  because  they don’t like the way their body looks. They are dieting and trying to lose weight but for some reason, that doesn’t happen.

I was very insecure and unsatisfied many years ago. I put on 60 pounds, and then I started working out like crazy. I exercised 3-5 hours per day and I tried all kind of diets. It took me many years to realize that the only way to lose weight and stay fit is to change the lifestyle. Part of that was to accept myself as I am. The reason that many of us can’t lose weight is also because we don’t love ourselves. Loving your body means accepting and embracing the way you are. When you do that you will actually change and transform.

Here is what you can do to fall in love with your body:

  1. Start eating healthy You need to keep in your mind that you’re doing that in order to feel great, not to just lose weight. That way you’ll have much more energy and you’ll start loving your body and feel amazing in your skin. And when you feel good, you look good. So, as you can see, everything is connected.
  2. Accept your body. It is important to feel comfortable in your skin. Even if you are not satisfied with your body shape, just pretend you are; that’s the key. From my personal experience, I remember when I was 16 years old and came to the U.S. as an exchange student, I gained 60 pounds. I used to be a ballroom dancer, and as you can only imagine, it was truly hard for me to see myself this way. I started dieting, and exercising 3 or 5 hours a day, but I was not able to get the  results that I wanted. So I decided  to  accept my body as it was and TEK then started the transformation.
  3. Picture the way you want to look.You need to draw a picture in your mind about the way you want to look and visualize it daily. Write down your ideal weight and start feeling like you already look that way. When we give attention and love to our body as it is, the respond will come

Otherwise, if we surround ourselves with negativity and stress, we’ll end up with bad results, bad   health and the body we hate. Nothing will ever change and we’ll always look the same.
