Just Do It!

2

It’s unbelievably important to start before you are ready. Otherwise, you may never start at all. You will keep postponing everything. Sound familiar? No wonder you feel stuck and stagnant!?

Truly successful people get up and learn everything they need to know on their way to the top. You can keep studying and preparing forever, but unless you start working towards your dreams TODAY, then they will never be fulfilled.

I remember when I started my first legal practice with my business partner. I used to be indecisive and scared. I would constantly think about my next steps. It was my business partner who always used to say, “stop thinking about it and just do it.”  He was absolutely right. Clarity and a renewed sense of purpose always come from engagement. Unless you try, you’ll never know.

Therefore, I encourage you to do the following:

  • Identify your goal
  • Put it down on paper
  • Brainstorm different ways to get there
  • Schedule the following steps and put them into your calendar
  • Just DO IT!
  • Even if you are afraid, that’s okay! Do it anyway. Fear is just a signpost telling you that you are on the right path. Fear is nothing more than ego blocking you from doing what you love. Fear doesn’t really exist. Therefore, there is no REAL and LOGICAL reason why you shouldn’t challenge yourself and move forward.

Let me know how this process went for you and leave a comment below. I can’t wait to hear your stories.

Have a productive day!
