There are times in life when we feel like sh**t. Even so-called “spiritual” people can feel down and lost. I have been intentionally raising my consciousness since I was 15 years old, but still there are times when I am down. Usually those times carry very important lessons for me to learn, so instead of complaining I try to embrace the challenge. But what if this down time goes on for way too long? You need to cut the crap, and detox your mind, body and soul!
I came up with Love is the Law Detox diet because I felt challenged in many areas of my life at the same time. I couldn’t see any solution to my so-called “big” problems. The truth is that the solution does not lie at the level of the problem, so we can’t find it by looking at and focusing on the problem itself. Instead of looking for solutions, I decided to drop it and let the universe guide me. The next morning I woke up and I was guided to go on detox.
Here is what you can do when you feel down, confused and challenged by life itself.
Love is the Law Self-Love Detox Diet:
- No negative people around you. Get rid of them.
- No negative talk with yourself or with others.
- No gossiping! No judging others or yourself!
- No self-doubt!
- Daily visualisation. See my articles about visualisation here.
- 20 minutes of meditation every day.
- 10 minutes of morning gratitude meditation, 10 minutes of evening gratitude meditation (list 10 things that you are grateful for) every day.
- Daily workout (yoga, run, etc.)
- Daily 30-60 minutes of reading/watching positive books/videos.
- Reduce alcohol (maximum one glass of wine per week).
- Follow a raw food diet (90% fresh fruit and vegetables).
- Spend time in nature every day.
- Every morning remind yourself how great and wonderful you are. Make sure to tell yourself “I LOVE YOU!”
Raw Food Diet
The reason I am suggesting a raw food diet to go along with the Self-Love Diet is simple. Raw food is a great way to boost your energy and cleanse your body. Not only will it boost your energy, but it will also make your skin and body look amazing. If you have never been on a raw food diet, take it slowly. Rest and drink plenty of water. It may be challenging for the first few days, but you will eventually get used to it. Not only will you feel great, but it will also be a totally transformational experience for you.
I am suggesting reducing alcohol intake to a maximum of one glass per week. When you do spiritual and physical detox, it’s great to completely get rid of alcohol. However, we are social animals and if you end up out with your friends, I don’t want you to feel isolated and awkward, so have one glass of wine or beer and enjoy it.
No More Toxic People
It’s important to cut out all negative people and also to cut out the toxic influence from their energy. There is no way you can detox yourself spiritually if you keep listening to negative talk and gossip. Gently tell them that you are on the Self-Love Diet and ask them to join you. A gratitude list is very important and also a great tool for preparing your subconscious mind for sleep. What you see in your reality is only a reflection of yourself. So if you want to experience your dream reality, you need to feed your subconscious mind with positive thoughts. 95% of what happens in your life is a result of your thoughts. By the way, these are not conscious thoughts but subconscious thoughts! List 10 to 15 things every night before you go to bed that you are grateful for. Your subconscious mind will respond and while you’re sleeping it will be projecting those positive thoughts. Do the same thing when you wake up in the morning. You are feeding your subconscious as well as your conscious mind with this powerful love boost! What you see will be a totally different reality, full of synchronicities and miracles. Expect that!
