5 Steps How to Be More Creative!
It’s natural for human beings to create new things and have fun doing it. Some of us need to be creative on a daily basis, so the fun part may not be as important to some. The question is how to be more creative or at least be creative when we need to be?
Don’t force your creativity.
If you try too hard to be creative, you won’t make it happen. Creativity is a natural flow of ideas that comes to you when you don’t expect it. It’s happening when you are open to the source and when you have a non-resistant state of mind. When you try to be creative, you are only forcing yourself. This force is creating the resistance that blocks the natural flow of your creative ideas. Therefore, stop forcing it and just be present for it.
Get a good night’s sleep.
When you suffer from a lack of sleep, your brain slows down and you can’t accomplish all the creative work that you are capable of. Get enough sleep every night and see how your creativity improves.
Oftentimes, not enough water and an unhealthy diet will make you feel uncomfortable and it will block the flow of creativity. You must feel good in order to increase your creativity. When you eat healthy organic food and drink plenty of water, you increase the energy in your body and as a consequence you will increase your creativity. Stop eating junk food, stop drinking alcohol or reduce your alcohol consumption and detox your body from the inside. Not only will you have much more energy, but you will create amazing things because you feel good.
Boost your energy.
When you exercise you boost your energy. Suddenly, all the endorphins start to flow through your body and you can experience very creative moments. Practice yoga, run, etc., do whatever makes you feel good as long as you move your body. Exercise at least 5-6 times a week and daily creativity won’t be an issue for you.
Meditation is a process where you calm your mind and don’t think. This is the state of mind where inspiration comes from. You can hear your true calling and only a relaxed mind can become a creative mind. That’s the space where all ideas come from. Start your day with meditation. Plan to meditate for at least 5-10 minutes a day and see how your creativity improves.
