I am about:
It took me 16 years to realize that in order to find true love, happiness, peace and success, I needed to go within because I would never find it out there. During those years, I gained and lost 50 pounds, experienced several painful breakups, moved from a small, post-communist country, Slovakia, to the U.S. at the age of 23, travelled and have lived in Chicago, New York, the Cayman Islands, Bratislava, Prague, San Diego, graduated from two law schools, Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago and Matej Bel University in Slovakia; became a licensed attorney in the state of New York, co-founded my international law firm Navrat & Oslanec PLLC, and read hundreds of self-development and spiritual books in order to realize that the ultimate law is Love.
Let’s recap and go back to where my journey started. When I was in my teens, I decided to study law. I always knew that I wanted to make an impact and change other people’s lives. By practicing law, I thought that I could make that sort of impact. In 2007 I graduated from law school in Slovakia and decided to move to the U.S. Despite my passion for self-development, I continued with my legal postgraduate studies at Northwestern University in Chicago. The only problem was that I didn’t quite feel like I fit in; I couldn’t see myself working for “Corporate America.” Later, I moved to New York City and was unable to find any ‘corporate’ position with my international background. Because I was fed up with my life -no money, no job, brokenhearted, alone and lost in New York City, I decided to go within and look for the answers inside of me. Suddenly, I saw a perfect opportunity to create a law firm that serves people from Europe who want to expand their business ventures and live the American Dream. After I co-founded my law firm with my business partner who became my life partner, I was forced to leave the U.S. because I didn’t have a valid work visa. Therefore, I reinvented my law firm business model and the law firm became a virtual online practice. Despite the fact that I couldn’t practice law in the U.S., I was able to serve people from all over the world. Eventually, I sponsored myself and became an investor in the U.S. After the business took off, my relationship went south. I ended up with a broken heart, lost and alone once again. I decided to move to San Diego where I was determined to find myself. After several months of solitude and days filled with meditation, I started to see and feel the light. I came to the conclusion that the world outside reflects my inner world, therefore there was nobody and nothing to blame. It was me; the creator who is responsible for my everyday reality.
Today, I live my dream life in sunny San Diego, CA. manage my own international practice with offices in three countries, and I am happy. My mission is to raise your consciousness in order for you to make the quantum jump through applying the Law of Love. Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. ~ Marianne Williamson
